Rant

Start your week off by taking in this opinion piece by Camille Paglia in the Wall Street Journal, decrying art student's contempt of capitalism and the beautiful design but ultimate soullessness of the iPhone, and calling for a 'revalorization of the trades'. (Also: "No major figure of profound influence has emerged in painting or sculpture since the waning of Pop Art and the birth of Minimalism in the early 1970s.")
